Project groups let you organize projects and control team access at a granular level.

What Are Groups?

A project group is a collection of projects with its own:

  • Member list — only assigned members can access projects in the group
  • Draft limit — maximum number of draft projects
  • Build (publish) limit — maximum number of published projects

Creating a Group

  1. Go to Dashboard → Members and open the Groups tab
  2. Click New Group
  3. Enter a name and optional description
  4. Set draft and publish limits (or leave as unlimited)

Assigning Projects

When creating or editing a project, assign it to a group. Projects without a group are accessible to all organization members.

Managing Group Members

Owners and Admins can add or remove members from a group. Members only see projects in groups they belong to.

Limits

Group-level limits take precedence over organization-level limits for projects within the group. This lets you allocate capacity across teams:

SettingDescription
Draft limitMax draft projects in this group
Build limitMax published projects in this group (-1 = unlimited)

Use Cases

  • Multi-tenant — separate client projects into groups with independent limits
  • Departments — give each team their own project space
  • Agencies — manage multiple client accounts within one organization
